Things I Want You to Know

A gentle reminder as you contemplate starting therapy.

  • You don't need to have everything perfectly figured out before scheduling a session.
  • All your feelings are completely valid especially the confusing, contradicting, or overwhelming ones.
  • It is entirely okay if you do not know how to put your distress into words yet. We will figure it out together.
  • Healing doesn't look identical for everyone. We take this journey one deliberate, safe step at a time.
